Tampax Packaging redesign
Overview
Choose a successful company already sold in stores and completely redesign its packaging and identity. Make deliberate decisions for the new shape and design. Research, design, and create your own dielines for this project.
Solution
For this project, I chose to rebrand Tampax. Their packaging designs are outdated and don't capture the consumer at first glance. I am targeting this product to younger generations of women. Young women are conscious about the products they use. They also look to buy products that have unique packaging. Because young consumers are conscious about their health, I designed packaging for organic tampons. And to match the organic theme, muted colors were paired with a floral design. In today's society, everybody is busy and always on the go. In response to this, I designed the packaging to have smaller compartments that can be taken out and easily carried in a bag or purse.
